Winter in Ohio offers some of the most beautiful camping sceneries. Waking up to a sheet of snow covering the tree limbs is absolutely breathtaking, as you sip your hot cup of cocoa from inside your warm RV. The majority of the Ohio State Campgrounds are open all year-round with limited site availability. Here are my top winter camping destinations!
Logan, OH
EAT

Easy to make Chex Party Snack Mix. A great addition to some eggnog and a Christmas movie in your warm camper.
STAY

Hike the seven trails, including Old Man's Cave. Stay overnight at the state park which has full hook-up sites year-round.
PLAY

Check out the local shops for antiques, artwork and handmade crafts, perfect to bring back home for Christmas presents.
