Clark Griswold wants to have a perfect family Christmas. However, things go awry when his cousin, Eddie, shows up in a camper with his family for the holidays. Add in the rest of the visiting relatives, and his perfect Christmas hits a few road bumps.
In accordance with the Maya calendar ending on December 21, 2012, this film follows Jackson Curtis as he tries to lead his family to safety while the world falls apart. He meets a scientist when Yellowstone National Park erupts and he has to drive an RV ahead of the disaster in his rear view mirror.
The intertwining stories of many New Yorkers find love, hope and second chances as the ball drops at Times Square. Sam, a businessman, needs to make it to New York to meet "the one," who promised she would be waiting for him last year. He rides in a Class "A" motor home with a strange family back into the city.
