There are so many amazing small businesses to support on Magnolia Blvd. I spent a Saturday walking the strip between North Hollywood Way and North Buena Vista Street and stumbled upon many local goods and incredible finds. If you are looking for a special gift, hanging out with friends, or just window shopping… Magnolia Blvd is the place to visit shopping boutiques.

Tansy - Plants and Decor

Bring nature home when you explore this gorgeous store. Grab a coffee as you walk around the outdoor garden full of colorful plants. There is so much to look at, especially indoors. Roam through the inside store discovering wall art, plant accessories, and of course more plants! Make sure you look up and take in the rainbow of wind chimes and decor hanging from the ceiling. Even cooler… have a party in their outdoor venue! A private event was being hosted when I visited and it looked like so much fun. You only need to pass by this delicious-smelling store to be instantly hooked. Purchase perfumes, candles, decor, and more or create your own perfume at the scent bar. The staff goes above and beyond to help you find the scent that matches you or someone you are making the perfume for. This is such a cool thing to do with friends! See the array of products here.

There are several places to stop to eat on Magnolia Blvd, but my go-to is Porto’s Bakery and Cafe. I love the vibe at this location and enjoy eating outdoors on a sunny day. Expect there to be a wait time on weekends, but it’s 100% worth the wait. They offer coffee, smoothies, sandwiches, pastries, and their signature creation - potato balls. If you can’t get enough or want to bring home takeout… order bulk items to go.
